Electrical Business has learned that Robert M. Griffin, president and CEO of CSA Group, has advised the board of his intention to retire in about a year’s time—February 20, 2010—on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
The board has organized a search committee for a new:
President and CEO
It has engaged the services of Korn/Ferry International. The
recruitment firm has been asked to bring forward external candidates,
as well as help evaluate any potential internal candidates.

The
objective is to have the new president and CEO start in September 2009,
thereby ensuring a period of training/orientation and orderly transfer
of responsibility prior to Griffin’s departure.
