September 23, 2015 – Prith Banerjee, managing director of Global Technology R&D at Accenture, has joined Schneider Electric as chief technology officer (CTO), and is also now a member of the Executive Committee.

He will be in charge of “accelerating Schneider Electric’s R&D throughput and of driving the Innovation and R&D Simplification programs under the program ‘Schneider is On’,” the company said.

Previously, Banerjee was CTO and executive vice-president of ABB and, earlier, he was senior vice-president of research at HP and director of HP Labs.
