PRODUCT RECALL – ADP Lennox recalls unit heaters

Advanced Distributor Products LLC (ADP) has announced a voluntary field repair action in Canada for separated combustion gas-fired unit heaters. According to ADP, some heaters were manufactured without a required flame rollout switch, which is a back-up device that shuts down the heater in the event of a heater failure, which can pose a fire hazard.

ADP has not received reports of incidents associated with the affected products. No injuries have been reported.

Approximately 105 units were sold in Canada. The affected units were distributed from September 2003 to April 2011.

Consumers have been told to stop using the affected unit immediately and contact ADP to arrange for an inspection and, if necessary, field repair at 866-303-8634, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. CT Monday through Friday.
