PRODUCT RECALL: Hammer drill

July 19, 2008 | By Anthony Capkun

Robert Bosch Tool Corp. has announced a voluntary recall of its 1191VSR (1191VSRK) hammer drill (with serial number starting with “7”) — about 250 of which were sold in this country. The trigger switch may stick in the On position, meaning the tool will continue to run after releasing the trigger, possibly causing injury. To-date, the manufacturer has received no complaints or reports of injury. Manufactured in Malaysia, the hammer drills were distributed between July 2007 and April 2008.
