November 25, 2016 – Eaton says its new 2016 arc flash relay system “helps improve worker safety and maximize electrical assembly uptime by quickly clearing arc flash events”.

 
Designed for low voltage and medium voltage electrical assemblies, the system detects and clears arc flash events with its factory installed arc flash relay modules and sensors, measuring both light and current.

It also includes flexible installation options including fiber optic cable or wired point sensors.
