May 10, 2017 - LEDtronics has announced its latest series of dimmable high-efficiency LED high-bay fixtures, which are DLC-listed low-profile units that output more lumens than the previous generation, while being more energy-efficient, the company claims. LEDtronics also says they are the “most affordable high-bay light fixtures” offered from the company to date.

March 22, 2017 - Cree has widened its LED surface ambient offerings with the LS-FD high-efficiency linear luminaire. The new luminaire delivers light quality and energy efficiency at 130 lumens per watt and serves as a replacement for linear fluorescent lighting in retail, industrial or commercial spaces.
March 17, 2017 - TE Connectivity has introduced a new compact connectivity solution for street lighting with LED light sources. TE’s Lumawise Endurance S module consists of a standardized interface between the receptacle and module base or sealing cap. It uses an integrated single gasket that can accommodate and seal both luminaire and module, TE notes, using the same connection interface for either 40-mm or 80-mm diameter central management systems.
March 16, 2017 - Legrand has announced the availability of the Wattstopper FSP-202 and FSP-212 sensors, the latest additions to the FSP-200 series line of occupancy sensors with daylight controls. Designed for LED fixtures, these contractor-grade sensors meet all code compliant lighting controls requirements, according to the company, as well as ASHRAE 90.1 (2010)/IECC (2012).
March 6, 2017 - Eaton has announced a collaboration with Enlighted to “accelerate the deployment of advanced sensory networks in commercial and industrial buildings”. By integrating Enlighted’s hardware, software, services and broader capabilities with Eaton’s LED lighting and controls portfolio, the two companies say they aim to “dramatically increase the adoption of connected lighting solutions by providing simplified solutions that are readily deployable”.
February 14, 2017 - Douglas Lighting Controls, a member of the Panasonic family of companies, has introduced a complete, stand-alone wireless system to control lights in a variety of commercial applications using Bluetooth wireless technology.
