March 17, 2017 - TE Connectivity has introduced a new compact connectivity solution for street lighting with LED light sources. TE’s Lumawise Endurance S module consists of a standardized interface between the receptacle and module base or sealing cap. It uses an integrated single gasket that can accommodate and seal both luminaire and module, TE notes, using the same connection interface for either 40-mm or 80-mm diameter central management systems.
March 16, 2017 - Legrand has announced the availability of the Wattstopper FSP-202 and FSP-212 sensors, the latest additions to the FSP-200 series line of occupancy sensors with daylight controls. Designed for LED fixtures, these contractor-grade sensors meet all code compliant lighting controls requirements, according to the company, as well as ASHRAE 90.1 (2010)/IECC (2012).
March 6, 2017 - Eaton has announced a collaboration with Enlighted to “accelerate the deployment of advanced sensory networks in commercial and industrial buildings”. By integrating Enlighted’s hardware, software, services and broader capabilities with Eaton’s LED lighting and controls portfolio, the two companies say they aim to “dramatically increase the adoption of connected lighting solutions by providing simplified solutions that are readily deployable”.
February 14, 2017 - Douglas Lighting Controls, a member of the Panasonic family of companies, has introduced a complete, stand-alone wireless system to control lights in a variety of commercial applications using Bluetooth wireless technology.
January 6, 2017 - Leviton has announced Decora Smart Apple HomeKit-enabled lighting control accessories for use with an iPhone or iPad, including in-wall dimmers and switches.
January 4, 2017 - Fulham Co., a supplier of lighting components and electronics for commercial and specialty applications, has released a new LED high-bay retrofit kit designed specifically for use in warehouses, hangars, gymnasiums, or any building where 400W HID high-bay lighting is traditionally used.
January 3, 2017 - HyLite LED Lighting, a division of Arva, has a new line: the Lotus LED, featuring a 180° adjustable mounting arm. This allows the Lotus lamp to install in multiple positions and at different lengths, making it suitable for recessed cans, canopy lights, parking garage fixtures, parking lot lights, flood/spot lights, high ceilings, and high-/low-bays.
December 20, 2016 - Solais, a manufacturer of specification-grade LED fixtures and lamps and a division of PowerSecure International, has a new family of chip-on-board (COB) LED trackheads and modules for its recessed multiples and downlights. Available in Xd30, Xd24 and Xd20 versions, Solais says the models deliver the single-glow-optic aesthetics demanded by today’s high-end retail and hospitality users.
