February 18, 2016 - Stelpro has a new line of connected products for the smart home. The line’s first product, marketed under the name Ki, is the 4000W line voltage thermostat and Stepro notes it is manufactured entirely in Quebec. It’s also the first line voltage thermostat distributed on the North American market to use Z-Wave technology, the company claims.
February 12, 2016 - Leviton says its Lumina RF Decora wall switch dimmer combines dimming capabilities for any 0-10V controlled load with wireless automation. The ZSD07 device can be used for stand-alone lighting control or attached to the Lumina RF and Lumina Gateway automation eco-system in new light commercial construction and retrofits.
February 10, 2016 - Smart Vision Lights says its LE series of sealed lights is inspired by European style and includes rugged IP65-rated housing, strobe and constant operation capability, and extrusion T-slot mounting. The housings with internal driver are sealed to provide drip-proof/splash-proof protection, the company adds, and the aluminum design provides maximum heat dissipation and ventilation to allow for pressure equalization.

February 2, 2016 - Architectural Lighting Works (ALW) has released the Moonring, a decorative luminaire that emits a “soft, mystical gleam from a flexible LED source woven within a narrow, 1-in. curved housing.”
January 27, 2016 - Nuheat, Pentair’s brand of electric floor heating systems, has announced it now works with the Nest learning thermostat.
January 26, 2016 - Royal Philips says it has advanced the dimmable LED bulb beyond just dimming, to become a “mood-enhancing” light bulb that changes colour. New Philips LED WarmGlow progresses from a warm yellow, white light—similar to an incandescent light bulb, Philips says—to a warmer reddish, white light that’s similar to a sunset.
January 20, 2016 - The ML1, ML2 modulinear luminaires are a new family from Jesco Lighting Group of aimable, dimmable recessed ceiling fixtures, with one to four LED modules. ML1 incorporates a single 20W high-output, two-step MacAdam COB (chip-on-board) LED, Jesco says, and ML2 has a single 15W COB. Both models offer a range of narrow, medium and wide beam angles.

January 19, 2016 - Hubbell Lighting has announced a 20% lighting output improvement for two of its LEDs: Beacon Products’ Viper and Spaulding Lighting’s Cimarron.
January 18, 2016 - Spaulding Lighting says its new Arceos ARA3 “features the latest LED technology, thermal management and controls”, and is ideal for large area/site lighting applications such as large parking lots, auto dealerships, transportation/port facilities, and retail/mall parking lots.
January 15, 2016 - Amerlux has unveiled its Cylindrix III mini LED, which it claims “delivers the lowest possible beam angle” due to a patent-pending optic.
January 13, 2016 - Providing "widespread light distribution", MaxLite says its new LED barn lights can replace high-pressure sodium or MH fixtures in yards, driveways, barns, docks and other areas requiring ample lumen output and coverage.
January 7, 2016 - Digital Lumens has unveiled LightRules Mobile, giving users a way to control and manage lighting settings from their mobile device or tablet.
January 4, 2016 - Leviton says it has a new LED ceiling occupancy sensor (9864-LED), expanding its line of ceiling lampholders for closets and closed spaces.
