September 5, 2018 — The MIT485/2TC-LG2 replaces Megger’s original MIT480 range tester. The instrument features fixed test voltages of 50V, 100V, 250V and 500V, as well as variable test voltages from 10V to 500V.

February 8, 2018 — Panduit Corp. has announced the North American release of its VeriSafe – Absence of Voltage Tester. VeriSafe is designed to minimize risk to electrical hazards by verifying the absence of voltage before equipment is accessed.
January 30, 2018 — The new Fluke 64 Max IR thermometer features Auto Capture, which allows technicians to set time and intervals to record the temperature unattended so it can capture “elusive temperature events.”
November 8, 2017 — The Bosch Blaze GLM 42 laser measure offers users full-colour backlit display with high resolution “even in dark areas or in low-light/no-light conditions.” The product provides default real-time length, area, volume and indirect measuring functions that the company says are simple to navigate thanks to a display guide that walks the user through each measurement function.
October 27, 2017 — Dent Instruments has replaced its PowerScout 24 submeter with two new multi-circuit power submeters: PowerScout 12 HD and PowerScout 48 HD. The two models monitor voltage, current, power, energy and other electrical parameters on multiple single and/or three-phase systems. The products come equipped with a USB port for quick setup and an optional local display for diagnostics and reading real-time values. Standard Serial RS-485 and Ethernet communications are also available in the same unit. Using the USB port and ViewPoint HD software, users can toggle between communication methods, protocols and other parameters in the field. Both meters meet ANSI C-12.20-2010 Class 0.2 revenue grade standards for accuracy.
September 26, 2017 — Extech has launched the Extech MG320, a CAT IV 20GΩ/1000V insulation tester with integrated True RMS multimeter. Extech says the product, which is Category IV 600V overvoltage safety-rated, is “ideal” for industrial predictive maintenance programs that include routine insulation testing of electrical and electronic equipment and cables.
June 1, 2017 - Extech Instruments has launched the MA3110 True RMS AC Flex clamp meter. The product offers a measurement range up to 3000A AC along with True RMS accuracy, the company claims.
