November 26, 2012 - Fluke has introduced the 437 series II Power Quality and Energy Analyzer, boasting the most advanced power quality functions available in a handheld tool. The 437 model includes PowerWave, a system that displays waveforms and half cycle RMS voltage and current values to measure interactions during switching operations to help prevent motor/drive/load mismatches. The tool can monitor systems with up to 10 power quality parameters on one screen, record up to 150 parameters on four phases simultaneously, in accordance with the EN50160 standard, and are safety rated 600 V CAT IV/1000 V CAT III.FLUKE
November 26, 2012 - Fluke has announced the new VT02 Visual Infrared thermometer, a troubleshooting camera with an infrared heat map. According to Fluke, the camera fills the gap between thermometers and thermal imagers, “when a single-spot temperature reading isn’t enough and a high-resolution thermal image is more than users need”. The VT02 combines the visual insight of a thermal imager, the visual images of a digital camera, and the point-and-shoot convenience of an IR (infrared) thermometer, adds Fluke. It displays and saves images as full visual, full infrared, or in three blended modes (25%, 50%, and 75%). FLUKE
November 19, 2012 - Greenlee Communications has announced the new Tele-Mate Pro 700 (TM-700) telephone test set with a built-in tone generator for pair tracing, Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency (DTMF) detection and measurement, as well as a new “dog-bone” design. The TM-700 is designed to help both skilled and apprentice technicians debug a variety of telecom problems with ease. The TM-700 is DSL compatible in both Monitor and Talk modes, and can measure data such as polarity, voltage, current, and ringing frequencies. 10 programmable speed-dial memories can be set and 10 last dialed/received numbers can be stored in the unit. The test set comes with built-in language support for English, French, Spanish, German, Turkish, and Italian.GREENLEE
November 5, 2012 - Fluke has introduced the CNX Wireless System, the set of test tools claiming to simplify troubleshooting by enabling up to 10 simultaneous electrical and temperature wireless measurements. At the core of the system is a CAT III 1000V /CAT IV 600V multimeter with a screen that displays its readings along with live readings from up to three other measurement modules. The modules can log up to 65,000 sets of data, which can be saved to a computer in .csv format.FLUKE
October 1, 2012 - The new Fluke OneTouch AT Network Assistant claims to automate troubleshooting of the most common end-user issues in about a minute, greatly reducing the time it takes to close network trouble tickets and ensure end-user satisfaction. The device tests wired and wireless networks from the client to the cloud with a one-button auto test feature, offering users the fastest way to troubleshoot end-user issues that generally take up 25% of a network technician’s workday to resolve, says Fluke. The tester also features a smartphone touchscreen and enhanced ruggedness for durability in the field.FLUKE NETWORKS
