February 14, 2017 - Megger has enhanced its series of insulation and continuity testers, minimizing the risk of accidental damage to equipment under test. Designed specifically for the telecommunications and cable testing markets, the MIT480/2 series features a three-wire connection for A, B and E (tip, ring and ground), eliminating the need to connect and disconnect leads to carry out the full range of testing on a cable pair, according to Megger.
December 9, 2016 - Megger now offers an insulation and continuity tester that is rated at 2.5 kV. The MIT2500 offers accurate measurements up to 200 GΩ, the company notes.
November 29, 2016 - The Reed R2050 thermal imaging camera displays thermal and visual images on a 2.8-in. LCD display and photos are saved on the included micro SD card.

November 24, 2016 - Megger now offers duplex connector test leads for its DLRO10 series of digital low resistance ohmmeters. This new four-terminal, 10A test lead system provides users with all of the test lead terminations and lead lengths required for use in a variety of low resistance testing applications.
November 14, 2016 - Southwire says it has nine new meters to specifically help residential and commercial electricians. Included in this product line are several meters which feature Bluetooth technology, allowing users to save and send readings using Southwire’s MApp mobile app.
October 21, 2016 - Klein Tools says it has introduced a multi-function 12:1 dual-laser infrared thermometer (IR5) at an opening price point for professional-grade IR thermometers. The IR5 features dual-lasers that use a tight 12:1 distance-to-spot ratio for measuring of temperatures between -22°F and 752°F.

August 5, 2016 - HD Electric Company’s PRX proximity voltage detectors come in three models with voltage ranges from 50V up to 500kVAC to verify the presence of voltage without contacting the conductor.
