November 27, 2015 - Ideal Industries is now offering its 490 Series datalogging digital multimeter with a “hardened all-weather” housing for industrial environments, it says. The company says the 490 lets electricians troubleshoot problems in industrial applications such as power distribution systems, electro-mechanical equipment, and motor drives on the plant floor, as well as perform a range of basic maintenance tasks.
November 2, 2015 - Troubleshooting intermittent faults is one of the most frustrating tasks for electricians and maintenance technicians, Fluke says, as they rarely occur at convenient times. The new Fluke Connect-enabled 370 FC Series clamp meters can save the day as they log measurements to pinpoint intermittent faults without the need for the technician to be present, according to the company.

June 29, 2015 - With a 180-degree articulating lens and 5.7 in. touchscreen, the new Fluke TiX560 and TiX520 infrared cameras allow thermographers to navigate over, under, and around objects to preview and capture images, according to Fluke. The cameras are ideal for predictive maintenance, R&D, oil and gas, and utility applications where flexibility and higher resolution are essential, the company says.
