October 30, 2015 - FLIR Systems says it has released the T1K series of HD thermal inspection cameras with “an intuitive yet simple hybrid-touch” user interface.
October 27, 2015 - The new Hilti multidetector PS 50 brings new depth to area scanning, according to the company. The self-calibrating tool uses pulsed radar technology to detect a variety of concealed objects: ferrous and non-ferrous, wood or plastic and electrical conduits at depths up to 5-7/8 in. in concrete. Two additional sensors allow for the classification of those objects and the detection of live wire, Hilti adds.
October 22, 2015 - Dexter + Chaney says its Spectrum construction software has new functionality: Spectrum Workflow and Job Compliance Tracking. Multi-currency functionality will be added in the next software release later this year, the company says.

The company notes the 2015 line will include the introduction of the new M12 heated 3-in-1 ripstop jacket & M12 heated ripstop vest, a completely redesigned women’s jacket, improved run-time on all heated jackets, and a new colour option for the M12 heated hoodie.

Featuring a variable helix and optimized breaker points, the new M/2 carbide solutions are the “most durable 2-cutter bits in the industry,” according to the company, and the new MX4 Carbide 4-cutter bits deliver “up to four times more life in rebar”.
