November 26, 2015 - Milwaukee Tool’s new line of Shockwave titanium Red Helix impact duty bits and cobalt Red Helix drill bits is its latest innovation in twist-drilling technology. These bits are engineered to “stay sharper longer,” says Milwaukee, and feature a Variable Helix flute geometry for faster material removal, a Chip Breaker to decrease heat build-up and a 135° split point to prevent walking.

November 20, 2015 - Milwaukee Tool says the next generation of their Shockwave Impact Duty driver bits has arrived. These feature an optimized Shockzone geometry to provide up to 30 times longer life and absorb three times more torque vs. other impact bits, Milwaukee says.

November 19, 2015 - Hilti says its new X-Change module (X-CM) core bits are the first in the market that can be re-tipped right on the jobsite using only a screwdriver. Just replace a worn X-CM module with a new module instead of replacing the entire core bit, it says.
November 19, 2015 - Optronics International has broadened its line of miniature LED work lamps with the Opti-Brite TLL30FB. At 3.25 in. in diameter, the round lens of the new lamps is up to 35% smaller than comparable work lamps, according to Optronics.
November 19, 2015 - Klein Tools says it has introduced the new All-Purpose Pliers with Crimper, a “more durable wire stripping tool that also has the functionality of a long-nose pliers and crimper – all in one tool”.
November 16, 2015 - Milwaukee Tool continues to expand its M12 system with the introduction of the M12 ¼-in. hex right angle impact driver. The “only professional 12V right angle impact driver on the market,” the new tool features a 1.4-in. head diameter and a speed of 2425 RPM, Milwaukee says.
November 16, 2015 - Greenlee has launched what it claims is an “industry-first” ergonomics laboratory, the Greenlee ErgoLab. The Rockford, Ill.-based laboratory offers equipment to identify a tool’s ergonomic value through scientific testing, measurement and analysis, which in turn will help utility and electrical tools users, along with purchasing officers and decision makers determine the best tools to utilize on the jobsite, Greenlee notes.
