September 22, 2017 — Eaton has launched EBMX enclosure technology from its Crouse-Hinds business. The enclosures use clamping enclosure technology for hazardous areas to help oil and gas and other industrial customers enhance safety and improve productivity. The company says this is the first of its kind and the first National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) 7 classified enclosure to use clamping technology.

April 3, 2017 - Hilti has a new firestop cable disc, CFS-D, which accommodates cable bundles up to 1 in. in diameter in regular and irregular openings. The pre-formed firestop solution features an adhesive back and collar-type design that can be surface-mounted in “10 seconds or less, without the use of additional tools, backfill or sealant”, according to Hilti.
