January 19, 2016 - One of Siemens’ latest product releases is the 600V meter centre, which was designed in Canada, Siemens says, using feedback from Canadian contractors. The Siemens team extended an invitation to electrical contractors across Canada who are experienced with 600V meter centres and hosted a workshop held at the Siemens Drummondville, Que. plant to review preliminary design/prototype and specific regional customer needs.
January 13, 2016 - As the cold weather settles in, Flextherm says it is expanding its heating offerings. The floor heating manufacturer is launching ProtecTherm self-regulating electric heating cables developed for roof and gutter de-icing and pipe freeze protection.

January 6, 2016 - TE Connectivity has released new Raychem S1260 hot-melt tape adhesive for high-temperature wire and cable repairs. The S1260 tape uses an environmentally resistant modified fluoropolymer for sealing high-temperature heat-shrink components to backshells, and is well suited for power cables with fluoropolymer and fluoroelastomer insulations and jackets, according to TE.

December 10, 2015 - Noark Electric, a low-voltage electrical product manufacturer, has announced the latest edition to the B1N miniature circuit breaker family: the UL 489 B1NQT. This recyclable, quick-connect breaker is available in three curves (B, C and D), ranges from 0.5 to 63 A and has an optional detachable shield to make it faster and easier for the installer.
