Protect remote assets from “crash-and-dash thieves” with AktivHub
March 3, 2022 | By Anthony Capkun

March 3, 2022 – AktivHub (Calgary, Alta.), which describes itself as predominantly an asset management software company, has moved into asset tracking.
“We now have a low-cost stealth monitor that will alarm and track immediately on disturbance (movement) of in-ground or tray-installed cable,” says the company. “Protect your remote assets from the crash-and-dash thieves that are taking advantage of elevated copper costs.”
AktivHub’s GPS solution is turnkey, says the company, and able to be integrated to a customer’s system and cellular devices seamlessly. The security solution for stranded asset materials is a small device that can be buried up to 1 metre—with a battery that lasts up to 10 years—with instant alarm on asset movement of more than 1 metre.
The asset tracking solution can be partnered up with AktivHub’s asset management software. Know where your assets are, whether they have been moved, where they are moving to, etc., at all times or via selective alarms.
