June 22, 2015 – National Safety Apparel (NSA) has released its new arc flash head protection: the ArcGuard faceshield. It boasts features such as high-visible light transmission for increased visibility, an attached see-through chin cup for enhanced peripheral vision, and a lightweight design, according to the company.
This faceshield comes in both 12 cal and 20 cal options (HRC 2) with adjustable settings that allow it to be locked in various positions. It fits multiple hard hats including standard, slotted, and full brim, NSA said. Faceshield is also CSA Z462-15 compliant.
NSA is a manufacturer of protective apparel for the electrical utility, oil, natural gas, steel, glass, construction, manufacturing, and other industries.
