PV Powered Inc.—a player in solar inverters—has appointed Marty S. Fleet to the new position of sales and business development manager, Canada. Fleet will open a new regional sales office in Ontario.

Fleet has been in the power electronics industry since 1993, focusing on
solar power since 2002. Most recently, he served as Satcon’s regional
sales manager, responsible for commercial and utility-scale photovoltaic
and fuel cell inverter business development in Canada and the
northeastern States.

“He brings a wealth of solar market experience to PV Powered,” said
Erick Petersen, PV Powered vice-president of marketing & sales, of
Fleet, adding, “and his appointment is timed perfectly to support our
business expansion in Canada.”
