April 4, 2013 – Q-Band patented plastic banding is now available from Band-N-Go Inc. Q-Band is corrosion-resistant, fiber-reinforced polypropylene banding with numerous applications, including electrical wiring and telecom cabling. Its strength, chemical resistance, stability in UV (black band) and wide operating temperature range, says Band-N-Go, make it suitable for use in harsh environments. When Q-Band is fastened with the plastic clip, the grooves on the band mesh with the teeth in the clip to create a strong grip. Together, the Q-Band and clip form a banding system that is economical and strong, says Band-N-Go, and can be permanent or temporary. When the clip is released, the teeth disengage from the grooves and the Q-Band and clip and are ready to be used again.
