Radica Software Sdn. Bhd. (Radica) has announced the launch of Electra Cloud, a fully browser-based electrical CAD software that allows engineers to create, edit and share 2D electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematic drawings with team members. Electra Cloud is compatible with all computer operating systems, including Microsoft Windows, Linux and Apple, as well as on any mobile devices such as smartphones.
According to Radica, Electra Cloud “helps engineers complete schematic drawings between 300% and 500% faster than traditional software currently available in the market.” The software allows users to access all necessary automated tooling, including automatic tagging, circuit reuse, real time cross reference, extensive set of NFPA/JIC and IEC symbols, PLC modules, automatically generate bill of materials, terminals, panel layout and more.
Users can collaborate on drawings with team members anywhere in the world, real-time, using a browser. A team dashboard allows team members to always have access to the latest version of drawings. Functions include sharing, commenting, chatting and collaborative editing. The software also comes with File Version Control, a feature that saves changes in real time automatically, allowing users to revert to previous revisions without worrying about losing any previous work.
Following a 30-day free trial, users can opt to downgrade to a Free Plan or continue to use the product at its full functionality for US$99 per month or US$999 per year for Electra Standard (without hydraulic and pneumatic tools) and US$1499 per year for Electra Professional (which includes hydraulic and pneumatic tools).
