July 2, 2013 – Rambus Inc. has introduced a capability for in-lamp adjustment of colour temperature in its LED-based PAR30 and BR30 bulbs. This technology development follows the general release of the Rambus PAR30 and BR30 bulbs. With a turn of the dial on the bulb, this enables in-lamp colour temperature to change through the use of a remote phosphor and a colour mixing light guide. The Rambus in-lamp colour adjustment technology allows the user to continuously adjust colour temperature to create the desired environment.
