February 21, 2013 – Altec Industries and Transport Canada have issued a recall for certain D2050A, LRV60E70, and TA40 Freightliner M2 106 truck models.

The concern is the chassis hose bundle may have been incorrectly secured by Altec Industries during the installation of its aerial device or digger derrick assembly. A kinked front brake hose would result in a loss of front brake function which, in conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the driver’s reactions, could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury, said Altec Industries.
