April 19, 2013 | By Anthony Capkun

April 19, 2013 – Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) is notifying the public that Cefco Canada has announced a voluntary recall of 660 GFCI receptacle tester units, which have not been tested for compliance with Canadian Standards for product safety, and may pose a shock hazard.

Manufactured in China by Wenzhou Galaxy Electronics Co Ltd., the model QT9808 was sold by Torbram Electric Supply between 2006 and 2010. If you have this device, return it to the original point of sale in exchange for a certified GFCI tester or a refund.
