The product is designed to turn on when motion is detected at night, and comes in a variety of styles and finishes. The brand name and model number are not visible on the outside of the product, but can be found on a label located on the back of the motion sensor (for wall-mounted models) or underneath the motion sensor cover (for ceiling-mounted models).

About 13,000 units (12 models) of the recalled light fixtures were sold in Canada at various retail locations nationwide and online between December 2006 through July 2013. Neither Health Canada nor HeathCo LLC have received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of the affected light fixtures.

The fixtures were manufactured in China.

Consumers should immediately stop using the lights and turn the power to the fixtures Off at the source. Contact HeathCo for further instructions and to receive a free replacement by calling (855) 704-5438.
