About 22 units were sold in Canada and about 16,000 were sold in the States from 2010 to October 2016. They were manufactured in Mexico.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled motors and contact Nidec to schedule a free repair by a qualified technician to install an external ground lead. Call 877-282-0223.
