RECALL: Rona Globe-brand Chelsea 6/9-light chandeliers
December 4, 2014 | By Anthony Capkun
December 4, 2014 – Rona is recalling Globe Chelsea Collection 6-light and 9-light chandeliers with a bronze finish and frosted-glass shades, because the ring that connects the chandelier to its chain may break and the chandelier may fall, which could cause injury.
Two incidents have been reported to Rona in Canada. No injuries have been reported. Health Canada, meantime, has not received any reports of consumer incidents or injuries related to the use of these products.
The chandeliers included in this recall are model numbers 63335 and 63336, and the UPCs 058219633359 and 058219633366, respectively. The lights use 60W type A19 bulbs (sold separately).
About 5300 chandeliers were sold at Rona and Réno-Dépôt stores across Canada from January 2010 through October 2014. They were manufactured in China.
To get a replacement ring, consumers should contact Globe Electric Co. Inc. customer service at (800) 361-6761 or email info@globe-electric.com .
