RECALL: TSC Stores recalls Pinnacle portable fans – RCL13-34

December 6, 2013 – Ontario’s Electrical Safety Authority is notifying the public that TSC Stores has announced a voluntary recall of certain portable fans and air circulator units sold at TSC Stores between March and May 2013.

The affected products have not been tested to determine whether they comply with Canadian standards for product safety and, as such, may pose a safety hazard. No incidents/injuries have been reported.

The recall involves 1067 units that were manufactured in China and imported by Pinnacle Products International Inc. The recalled units include:

• PT-240-DDF 24-in. direct-drive portable fan
• PT-36-BDF 36-in. belt-drive portable fan
• PT-42-BDF 42-in. belt-drive portable fan
• PT-48-BDF 48-in. belt-drive portable fan
