January 17, 2017 - Transport Canada is notifying the public of a recall on Altec Industries AA755 and AN650 booms due to safety concerns.

On certain aerial devices, the cylinder end gland could fail and cause uncontrolled boom movement. Dealers will inspect the cylinder head gland for deformation and repair or replace the cylinder head gland as necessary. If the unit has a cylinder with a threaded head gland, the entire cylinder will be replaced.

1995 is the model year for both recalled booms.
