The event is organized by Messe Frankfurt Inc. in partnership with the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) and the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), and is an extension of Messe Frankfurt’s global Light + Building event portfolio.
A pre-conference will take place on March 15, with three days of exhibits and on-floor education to follow from March 16 to 18.
Bringing together professionals who design, specify, build, and operate spaces, the show will take place across three different, floor-specific sectors, including lighting, building technology, and components and accessories. Each floor will allow attendees to discover new products, exchange expertise, and explore trends in lighting and building technologies.
The educational program will be developed and presented alongside the Light Collective, led by Sharon Stammers and Martin Lupton. Sessions will be based on current industry conversations and practical insights regarding building intelligence, illumination, and innovation, with eligible sessions to feature opportunities for attendees to earn CEUs.
“Choosing the right product is only part of delivering a successful project. Professionals also need to understand how it will function within the larger building,” said Latoya Gooding, senior show manager. “Light + Intelligent Building North America brings those conversations into one place, giving attendees access to the products, technical expertise, and industry perspectives that inform better decisions.”
