January 3, 2019 – Robertson Electric Wholesale, headquartered in Vaughan, Ont., plans to open its first Alberta branch this March in Edmonton, starting with a focus on lighting and associated products before adding wire and cable offerings.

The approximately 30,000-sf facility will be supported by branch manager Dean Marchuk and outside sales representatives Greg Briere and Christian Reed. It represents the latest expansion westward for Robertson, which opened locations in Winnipeg in 2013, Burnaby, B.C., in 2014 and Langley, B.C., in 2016.

“We are very excited for our first location in the Alberta marketplace,” says Rick Campbell, president of Robertson.

Founded in 1952, Robertson currently has 14 branches across Canada.
