Robin Bobocel is ECA of Alberta’s new executive director

June 17, 2021 – Robin Bobocel is the new executive director of Electrical Contractors Association of Alberta, effective June 15, replacing Sheri McLean, who has retired (Read more about Sheri McLean here).
Robin most recently served as a strategy consultant to a variety of clients in the areas of economic development and government relations. Prior to this, he served as director of strategy and chief of staff to the president & CEO of NorQuest College.
Robin also served as CEO of the Red Deer & District Chamber of Commerce, and executive director of Concrete Alberta (formerly Alberta Ready-Mixed Concrete Association).
Due to his political and management background, Robin was recruited by Premier Jim Prentice to accept a position as the chief of staff to the Alberta Minister of Innovation & Advanced Education.
He also spent five years at the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce as chief operating officer and vice-president of policy.
