April 12, 2016 - GE Lighting has issued a recall for its high-intensity LED bulbs. The lamp can separate from its base and fall onto consumers below, GE says, posing an impact hazard.
April 8, 2016 - Liberty Hardware has recalled decorative metal wall plates, noting these products can dislodge from the backplate and short circuit the outlet, posing a risk of electrical shock or fire.
March 9, 2016 - Pelican Products has recalled its 9410L flashlight, a large rechargeable LED flashlight that is equipped with lithium-ion battery packs and replacement battery packs, due to a flammability hazard.
February 1, 2016 - Ford has issued a recall for its 2016 E450 cutaway chassis cab truck model. The company says the integrated trailer brake controller, during tow operation, may not actuate the trailer brakes when the driver depresses the brake pedal. This applies to the vehicles equipped with 6.8L engines and optional trailer brake controllers.
February 1, 2016 - California-based distributor Lunera Lighting has recalled the Helen 13W GX23 LED lamps with date codes ranging from 1525 to 1552 as Health Canada reports that the lamps can overheat, causing the lens to dislodge, posing fire, burn and electric shock hazards.
