May 16, 2013 - UL is notifying consumers and retailers that the compact fluorescent lamp (CFL) identified below bears a counterfeit UL Mark for Canada and the United States. It has not been evaluated by UL to the appropriate standards for safety.
April 30, 2013 - UL is notifying distributors, contractors, fire departments, regulatory agencies and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs) that the heat detector identified below bears a counterfeit UL Mark, and has not been evaluated by UL to the appropriate standards for safety. It is unknown whether the detector complies with any safety requirements.
