July 28, 2015 – Congratulations to Schneider Electric Solar Business and ABB Inc. Power & Industrial Systems on receiving the 2014 Award of Excellence for single-site and multi-site management systems from BSI Canada!

For this award, nominees were evaluated based on criteria that included audit performances, quality management systems, and business results.

The Solar Business of Schneider Electric has a worldwide multi-site management system involving five sites in four countries (Canada: Burnaby, B.C.; USA: Livermore, Calif. and Elkhart, Ind.; France: Montbonnot, near Grenoble; India: Bangalore). “This award of excellence from BSI Canada is a clear indication that our business management system is fully embedded in our daily operations and is an integral part of our business,” said Serge Goldenberg, head of the Solar Business unit of Schneider Electric. “Managing five sites in four countries is not an easy thing, and this is a great achievement for our business. Furthermore, receiving this recognition from BSI is an important indicator of our commitment to quality management.”
