It can support processes and infrastructure across several industries, says Schneider Electric, including equipment manufacturing; mining, minerals, and metals; water, and wastewater; oil and gas, and more.

The company says integrating the ATS480 in EcoStruxure apps and software for automation and power simplifies architecture selection, design, and execution. The device’s built-in cybersecurity features restrict or disable port/services, while threat intelligence generates security-related reports. The starter is able to connect with competitor control systems.
