August 15, 2018 — Schneider Electric has developed the Masterpact MTZ circuit breaker as part of its EcoStruxure Power portfolio. The company says the circuit breakers increases efficiency and can adapt to evolving needs for safety, reliability and sustainability.

The circuit breakers provide smart connectivity, remote monitoring and customization via digital modules. They also use the company’s “Future Ready” EcoStruxure Power capabilities:

• Integration with building and energy management systems via EcoStruxure Power architecture
• Smartphone connectivity for wireless alerts and maintenance
• Precision Class 1 power meter built-in for energy-saving capabilities
• Micrologic X control unit

EcoStruxure Power is part of Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure architecture, the company’s Internet of Things-enabled pug and play, open, interoperable, architecture and platform.
