Schneider Electric launches Conext Series grid tie solar inverters

October 20, 2011 – Schneider Electric Renewable Energies Business has launched the Conext range of single-phase inverters in North America, offering a robust, simple and flexible solar grid tie solution for residential and small commercial applications, it says. Models range from 2.8 to 5 kW, with the 5kW inverters now available for order and shipping and all models available by the end of the year. The inverters use Schneider’s Fast Sweep technology, containing a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) feature that helps ensure increased energy harvest in shaded conditions, and also contain an integrated DC and AC disconnect switch, it adds.
