October 30, 2013 – Schneider Electric has introduced 15 prefabricated data centre modules and 14 prefab data centre reference designs, the latter of which detail complete data centres scalable in 250kW to 2MW increments, and meet Tier II and III uptime standards.

The prefab modules deliver IT, power and/or cooling integrated with infrastructure components and StruxureWare data centre infrastructure management (DCIM) software for “an easy-to-deploy, predictable data centre”. Prefabricated modules range in capacities from 90kW to 1.2MW and are customizable to meet end user requirements. Products are available for immediate ordering in North America. Prices vary based on the specific design and customization.
