December 11, 2013 | By Anthony Capkun

December 10, 2013 – Iobridge Inc.—which “helps companies simply and cost-effectively connect products to the web”—announced a new licensing agreement with Schneider Electric.

“Through this collaboration with Iobridge, Schneider Electric will enable customers—from the home consumer to the enterprise—to easily connect to the internet and manage all of their devices,” explained Michael Maiello, senior vice-president, Home and Business Networks, Schneider’s IT Business.

By leveraging its patented technology, Iobridge says businesses looking to produce internet-enabled products can get to market quickly and cost-effectively.

“As price points continue to come down, you’re going to see more and more global manufacturing companies looking to internet-enable small products,” said Iobridge CEO Dr. Robert Mawrey. “We’re starting to move more toward an ‘Internet of Small Things’: a focus on little things that will ultimately have a much bigger impact.”
