Schneider MPPT 100 600 solar charge controller

February 13, 2021 | By Anthony Capkun

February 13, 2021 – Schneider Electric Solar says its Conext MPPT 100A 600vdc solar charge controller expands the company’s solar charge controller product line with a greater range of power ratings for solar and storage systems. (Compared to the MPPT 80, the MPPT 100 provides 25% more charging power.)

It allows homeowners to optimize battery charging from solar and maximize “energy resiliency”. Should the battery inverter shut down due to a fully discharged battery overnight, the MPPT charge controller allows the system to recover when PV returns.

The MPPT 100 allows for 7kW solar power arrays, suitable for residential grid-tied self-supply and off-grid systems. It is also scalable for larger installations. With 2 PV strings per charge controller, the MPPT 100 600 offers 50% less wiring than low voltage charge controllers.
