Schréder Lighting USA’s ISLA LED luminaire is intended for a variety of urban environments, including college campuses, park trails and pathways, and shopping centres. The luminaire uses either 28 (asymmetrical) or 42 (symmetrical) Cree XR-E LEDs, plus one Blue LED (for “ambiance and to accentuate nocturnal presence”). ISLA permits low-height installations and, currently, offers 6000K colour (other temperatures available soon). The luminaire is designed to distribute light complying with Dark Sky-friendly standards, and boasts a hermetically sealed optical module using the Sealsafe System with an IP66 rating). All finishes are UV- and salt spray-resistant and humidity-proofed; the units are also wet location listed per UL 1598.
