The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) announced that Delvin Diaz of Cox Communications is the 2009 recipient of its Excellence in Cable Telecommunications Learning and Development (L&D) Award.

The annual award recognizes the achievements of learning and
development professionals within the cable telecom community who have
demonstrated significant success toward advancing the careers of others
through innovative use of cable telecom technology-centric curricula
and learning programs. An SCTE member since 1994, Diaz will receive his
award during SCTE Conference on Broadband Learning & Development
(CBL&D) set for October 27, 2009, in Denver, Colo.
