February 6, 2015 – Florida-based Solar Electric Power Company (Sepco) recently unveiled the SolarSlide, an outdoor LED solar-powered lighting system.

The SolarSlide is 100% solar powered and off the grid, said Sepco, as well as self-recharging and self-storing.

“SolarSlide produces high-performance white light with low-glare beam projections and aiming capability,” said Sepco. “Its LED outdoor lighting system provides powerful, ultra long lasting, low-maintenance illuminations for commercial, institutional, industrial and municipal areas; walkways and pathways, parking lots, parks, streetscapes and roadways.”

Solar power assemblies for the product range from 10 to 425 w, with batteries lasting a minimum of five days.

For ocean shore areas, endangered sea-turtle lighting is also available.

The product is ETL listed and has been approved for use in Canada, said Sepco.
