May 5, 2016 – Linamar Corporation’s Skyjack division recently unveiled what it’s calling its tallest DC electric scissor: the SJIII 4740. It has a working height of 45.3 ft and is the first Skyjack to enter into this machine class.
The SJIII 4740 will be drivable at full working height, Skyjack claims, and it has an overall capacity of 771.61 lb. It is also Skyjack’s widest DC electric scissor at 47 in.
The steering system in the SJIII 4740 has been redesigned, offering operators an “improved 21 in. turning radius” and is equipped with variable speed front wheel hydraulic drive as well as a 3 ft roll out extension deck.
