MEET 2014 hosts Skills Canada NB electrical competition

April 2, 2014 – Less than six weeks from now, the MEET Show (Mechanical Electrical Electronic Technology) will return to Moncton, N.B., for its 21st edition on May 7-8, and EBMag will be there!

As part of the show, MEET will present the Electrical Installations, and Refrigeration & Air Conditioning portions of the Skills Canada NB Competition. These challenges serve as provincial qualifiers in the selection of Team New Brunswick members who will participate in the Skills Canada National Competition, in Toronto this June.

Electrical Installations will take place at the show on May 7 and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning will take place the following day.

The MEET 2014 Sponsoring Associations will also be presenting the 3rd biennial MEET Innovation Awards, honouring innovative products in the electrical and mechanical industries. Nominations have been accepted from individuals and businesses in the categories below, and awards will be presented to the winners at their booths during the show.

• CIPH (Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating) Innovation Award
• EFC (Electro-Federation Canada) Innovation Award
• IES (Illuminating Engineering Society) Innovation Award
