Snake Tray offers Snake Nut fastener

February 29, 2012 – Snake Tray has introduced the Snake Nut fastener for threaded rod, saying it eliminates the time consuming method of running hex nuts up a threaded rod. According to the company, users simply insert the Snake Nut onto the threaded rod and tighten into place with set screw. Once locked into place, Snake Nut holds up to 9000 pounds. It is available in 3/8”, 1/2” and 5/8” sizes.
