January 18, 2016 – Spaulding Lighting says its new Arceos ARA3 “features the latest LED technology, thermal management and controls”, and is ideal for large area/site lighting applications such as large parking lots, auto dealerships, transportation/port facilities, and retail/mall parking lots.

 
The ARA3 replaces a 1000W HID luminaire with over 50% energy savings, according to Spaulding, and can be mounted up to 50 ft. It comes in three lumen options with backlight control, a variety of control options, and seven standard finishes: dark bronze, black, gray, white, platinum, red and forest green.
 
Spaulding Lighting’s new luminaire is CSA certified to UL1598A for wet locations. It is also rated to IP65.
