May 14, 2015 – Stahl has partnered with United Plastic Fabricating (UPF) to offer the Razorback, what the company claims is the first polymer composite service body for the work truck industry.
The Razorback features a polypropylene service body mounted on a steel or aluminum sub-frame. It’s available in a variety of line, aerial and service body configurations.
It has stainless steel hardware including 3-point, T-handle door latches, automotive hinges, door retainers on vertically hinged doors, and continuous-bulb door gaskets for watertight seals.
Razorback is made from the same polypropylene of UPF’s Poly-Tank, a water tank for the fire industry, noted Stahl.
