July 9, 2013 – Standard Products has introduced LSG Roadway luminaries, claiming to offer a variety of direct replacements for traditional HID (high-intensity discharge) Roadway luminaires. Optical systems are sealed and carry IP66 rating. According to the company, the internal thermal management system eliminates the need for external fins and maintains a low, smooth profile. The luminaires are cULus and ETL certified, and are suited for applications such as roadways, parking lots, and city and residential streets.
