January 30, 2023 – Stelpro Group has named a new CEO—Pierre Huard—who starts in his new role today.

“I’m very proud of what the Stelpro team has accomplished over the past 41 years,” said Yves Chabot, founding president. “Pierre has shown us that he has the experience and vision required to take over the management of Stelpro Group.”

Chabot has worked within Stelpro for 25 years, including 17 years at the helm.

Huard has held several management positions at companies such as Rolls-Royce, Pratt & Whitney and, most recently, Meubles Foliot.

“This organizational change will bring together all the departments that directly serve our customers; namely, Sales, Customer Service and Marketing,” says the company.

Finally, Étienne Guay will focus on his role as vice-president, Innovation & Product Development.

Based in Quebec, Stelpro is an electric heating appliance manufacturer. The family owned company employs over 600 people across its Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, Longueuil, Terrebonne, and Shawinigan locations. It is also a member of Canada’s Best Managed Companies (Platinum Club).
